What’s new for RESPECT Society for Women

Lots has happened so far this year.

The board has been giving some thought on how we continue to serve women with experiences of abuse as the Covid-19 pandemic continues. Running our groups online was a big shift for us in 2020 but our amazing and dedicated facilitators embraced this change, providing a safe place for women to meet together virtually and learn more about abuse. We have been able to run four groups this year, helping approximately 40 women to make sense of the confusion that comes with the experience of being abused.

As we plan for the future we are excited to work with The Matching Project to connect with corporate volunteers who will help us with projects we want to develop.

And we are always interested in meeting women who want to join our groups.
